Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid welcomed community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can reduce prejudice.

During the event, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to Human Rights European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when rooted in respect for human rights.
